"Follow the Child” - Maria Montessori
Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, we at Kinfolk provide an innovative and holistic early childhood educational program. Our approach builds a strong foundation for overall development and ensures a smooth transition through primary and secondary school levels. Guided by our motto, “Follow the Child,” every aspect of our environment is thoughtfully designed to nurture growth and learning.
We believe that every child comes into this world with their own unique personality and abilities. These qualities are observed and nurtured in an environment that is scientifically designed, augmented by specially designed and precisely engineered teaching materials developed by Dr. Maria Montessori to “help the child learn” through his/her preschool or formative years.

Mrs. Thaneesha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, and a Master’s in HR and Finance from MP Birla Institute of Management, Bangalore. She has also earned a certificate in Montessori training from Montessorians United and trained under ace Montessorian Ms. Muneera Akhtar.
Preschools are spaces where young children form their most fundamental relationships with the world. At a personal level, Kinfolk is close to my heart as it has been a part of my family for half a decade. My family, co-workers, and parent community understand and appreciate the importance of natural elements, play-based learning, nature-based learning, the Montessori philosophy, and the arts in early childhood education. We believe in giving children the freedom to choose and helping them understand that there is more than one way to see the world.
Kinfolk began with the idea of sharing this heritage, lush green space in the heart of Whitefield and developing it responsibly. We set out to create an extraordinary environment whose primary purpose is to give children the experience of coexisting with nature and discovering that the world is a wonderful and joyful place to live in. As a team, we work every day towards our mission of nurturing young minds.”
